wax and bronze
A large series of fragmented body parts cast in bronze, wax, and paper. Scattered amongst the figurative remnants are several cast domestic objects (kitchen utensils, cans, electronics, books etc), artifacts that suggest a previously peaceful and civilized environment prior to the unexpected eruption of violence. Lost Limbs/Foreign Bodies speaks of the embodied losses that occur as a result of physical violence as well as the emotional losses we endure as a result of personal, cultural and environmental trauma.
